Renting Guidelines
Our services are free of charge for renters. Landlords pay all of the fees. In order to rent a property, you will need to complete a tenant screening form and attach a copy of your photo ID. Once you get approval from the landlord to rent the property, the next step to follow is the signing of the rental agreement, and payment of the first and last month’s rent, plus a security deposit. However, some properties only require first month’s rent plus a security deposit.
A number of properties do not allow children or pets. So you will have to indicate whether or not you have children or pets before you can rent certain properties. Additionally, tenants are responsible for paying their own utilities, and they are also usually responsible for their own pool and garden maintenance (but not always). Semi-furnished, furnished, and unfurnished Barbados rentals are all available. Most rentals are long-term, which means one year and over.
